We love to see our visitors discover Cape East, you are our greatest ambassadors and we know you take amazing photographs. When we see something we are inspired by, we sometimes ask permission to use that image/video in our own channels. The photos are published primarily on our website to give other customers a glimpse of how it is to visit Cape East. They may in some cases also be published in one of our other channels ex Instagram, Facebook or Newsletters. The text that belongs to the image, both captions and comments, we can choose to publish in original or edited form, or not to publish if we have been allowed to use the image. If you agree that we publish your image, use the hashtag #yescapeeast when you post the image, or in response to the comments if we have sent a request to use it.

By responding to our request with the hashtag #yescapeeast, you agree to the following: 

You provide Cape East, a non-exclusive, royalty-free worldwide license to use any pictures you have responded with #yescapeeast, hereinafter referred to as ”picture”, in their marketing and / or advertising, Including in the gallery on the website, newsletters, social media, e-mail, other customer communications and other marketing purposes.

Hereby certify and certify that (i) you own all of your rights to your pictures, (ii) you have been granted permission from any person appearing in your pictures to transfer the rights herein, and (iii) the use of your pictures by Cape East will violate any third party’s rights or violate any law.

SOCIAL MEDIA 

We want to encourage you as a follower on our social media to keep a good tone and respect each other on our social channels. Therefore, we have developed a policy with guidelines where we clarify what is not okay and therefore will be removed on our Social Media.

We encourage all our guests to leave reviews after their visit, but are grateful if you first leave your comments via the form sent to your e-mail at check-out or that you tell about your experience to our reception at check-out. This gives us a better opportunity to take action.

Cape East does not discuss issues of compensation or crime on social media. These questions must be sent by e-mail, telephone or directly on site.

Cape East may delete comments or posts that contain the following:

  • Publication of copyrighted material.
  • Publication of personal data.
  • Violations directed at, for example, an ethnic group, sexual orientation, gender, political opinion, profession or religion.
  • Swear words and obscene words.
  • Personal attacks and defamatory posts

Cape East Hotel & SPA is owned and administrated by Pite Havsbad Group AB and StudentConsulting Sweden AB. Six hotels are part of Pite Havsbad Group and all forms of communication is handled by the marketing department.

For all hotels that are part of the Pite Havsbad Group, you have the opportunity to become a customer club member when you book accommodation at one of our hotels. The customer club gives you the opportunity to keep up with what is happening with us and take advantage of exclusive membership offers, priority on accommodation and tickets to our entertainment and beach parties, free rebooking and participate in raffles that take place throughout the year.
 

BOOKING TERMS  

Here you can read the conditions that apply to booking, payment, cancellation and check-in and check-out. If no special agreement has been reached, the following rules apply to you as a guest with us at Cape East. For conferences and group bookings, special rules apply.

On May 25 2018, the new regulations GDPR came into force, which works to give you greater control over how your personal data is handled. Therefore, we have developed an Privacy Policy so that you can read and understand how, and for what purposes, we process your personal data. If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. We do not store anything in our websites digital databases for more than a year.

What rights you have over your personaldata
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Vi skänker 100 kr per rum till de drabbade av kriget i Ukraina

För alla som nu bokar och bor på Cape East under april månad så efterskänker vi 100 kr per rum till Rädda Barnens viktiga arbete.

Krisen i Ukraina blir allt värre och det är den snabbast växande flyktingkrisen i Europa sedan andra världskriget. Just nu är det över 4,3 miljoner människor på flykt från kriget och vi ser det som en självklarhet att hjälpa till där vi kan i rådande läge. Rädda Barnen jobbar med att hjälpa människor både på plats i Ukraina och för att ge ett tryggt mottagande i de länder dit barn och familjer tvingas fly.
